"Within The Eye of The Storm" is an international film produced by Nisan Katz and Shelley Hermon, a co-production with France 5 TV and with the support of The Sundance Institute, Makor & Gesher Foundations for Cinema. It won an Award for "Best Contemporary Issue film" in DocMiami, was nominated for "Best Debut Documentary 2012" in Israel, won an ward at the "Religion Today" Film Festival and recently - the prestigious "Japan Prize" for it's educational merits.

 The film tells the remarkable story of Bassam and Rami, a Palestinian and an Israeli who were once dedicated fighters, yet each one of them experience the tragic loss of their daughters to the conflict. Instead of seeking revenge they set out on a joint journey to humanize the very enemy, which took the dearest thing from them and prevent the vicious cycle of retaliation in themselves and their societies. They turn from enemies to brothers. The film follows their two parallel stories and the moments where they converge, both in their personal experiences and peace work as they face their shattered families, confused communities and opposing society. 

Since it’s premier, the film has already been invited to over 20 Countries, 60 Cities & 100 screenings, through festivals, organizations and educational forums.
